So far this site only lists screenings in other states and never the state in which any of its member reside. I have been in 6 states so far that it is giving out screening but when i log in in those states there are not listings in those states. Bad business guys.

screenings in Atlanta
I agree about the old people in Atlanta snatching up passes but its not like you have to hear about passes via word of mouth... You just have to know where to look. The best sites for Atlanta passes are Shakefire.com and Chud.com followed by Moviejungle.com and filmmetro.com. I have never gotten one from this site but obviously some people have gotten around the fact that passes disappear the second after they are posted. The radio stations also occassionally give away passes on their websites. Other than that you just have to check regularly... and for those who are complaining about Filmmetro not "bringing screenings to Atlanta" you don't understand how screenings work. Screenings are almost always in Atlanta and they are run by the studios... not the sites or companies who give out the passes. They are just given the passes in order to use them for promotion so sites like filmmetro have nothing to do with getting a screening for a city. Atlanta actually gets almost every screening, but some are just harder to find who is giving the passes out.

Do you guys even like Atlanta?
I've seen all sorts of great movies screening in rural parts of Florida and suburbs of other cities that I didn't even know had suburbs. However, Atlanta gets very poor screenings. I admit, I thoroughly enjoyed The Rocker. The movie was great, but really the movies given to Atlanta are not in comparison to what's playing in parts of Florida where alligators outnumber the population. BRING MORE AND BETTER MOVIE SCREENINGS TO ATLANTA!

Old Boy Network
I have to agree with Fajing about the "oldsters" in Atlanta. If you are not in their group, no information is shared...like a secret society. But I have received several passes from FilmMetro. Thanks!!

hoax
i'm beginning to think this whole website is a hoax, you tease us with the movies, and disappoint us by having what seems as fake screenings. in a years time, we haven't been able to participate, due to the "sold out" phrase, that somehow is automatic when the sign ups begin. chit, chit, chit, i'm gonna go get a life, because this isn't the place for me or anyone, it's someones cruel joke.

Atlanta screenings
It's all the old folks "mafia" who keep snatching up all the tickets in atlanta. You have to admire their network though. They are the freebie movie masters and seldom there is a screening or freebie they don't know about.
